What's Coming Up: 1. There will be a hike for all Teen Guys on Saturday, November 23rd. Please meet at the church at 2 pm. 2. We are partnering with a local restaurant to provide a Thanksgiving meal to the needy of our community. The restaurant will serve from their food truck, and our gymnasium will be used for seating. The meal is free, but those receiving a meal, must present one meal voucher for each person. If you know of a family or individual who would benefit and appreciate a meal on Wednesday, the 27th, from 4 - 6 pm, please see Merri Ellen Wright for vouchers. 3. Our Annual Pie and Praise Service will be on Wednesday, the 27th. Join in the Praise portion at 7 pm in the auditorium and then bring a Pie to share and stay for the fellowship following. 4. All ladies are invited to the Ladies’ Christmas Party to be held on Friday night, December 6th at 7 pm. It will be in the clubhouse of Santa Fe Subdivision close to the mall. To sign up and for more information with the exact address, please see the bulletin board in the office area. 5. Our Christmas Cantata, Shout the Good News, will be December 14th & 15th at 6 pm each evening. 6. We are already starting to make preparations for summer camp next year. Camps are filling up very quickly, so we want to be able to get our youth registered as quickly as possible. This year we will be taking both our Juniors and Teens to camp Ironwood in CA. These camps will be for kids who are going into fourth grad all the way up through 12th grade. The dates for camp this year are June 23rd-28th. Flyers with further information as well as registration forms can be found on the table by the bulletin board in the church office. |
