1. There will be a Teen/Young Adults' Activity on Wednesday, August 19th. The group will be meeting at the Steffan’s home for a pizza and game night starting at 6 pm and wrapping up around 8 pm. You can either meet at the Steffan’s at 6 pm, or ride in the church's van, that will leave from church at 5:45 pm. 2. On Wednesday, August 26th, our Truth Trackers Ministry will begin again. This ministry is for kids ages 3 through 6th grade. If you are a member of Westside and would be interested in being one of our youth leaders for this, please talk to Pastor Jake. 3. This is a five-Sunday month, so we will be doing a fellowship lunch in the CEC on Sunday, August 30th, following the morning service. We will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, which the church will provide. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for you to indicate how many people from your family will be at the lunch and for you to sign up to bring some items to help with the meal. There will be no evening service that Sunday. 4. The Lord’s Supper will be observed during the morning service on Sunday, August 30th. |
